A recall is a safety critical action implemented by the manufacturer due to design or construction tolerance which may affect the safe operation of the product.

Where do I find my 17 digit VIN number?

The 17 digit VIN number can be found on the lower passenger side of the vehicle windscreen, visible from the outside of the vehicle. It is also included on the V5 registration document of the vehicle.

Who pays for the repair?

BMW covers the cost of any technical campaigns and safety recalls.
