How we can continue to help

Following the Government’s announcement on 31st October, Barretts Motor Group are able to confirm the following in relation to the second national lockdown in place from 5th November 2020.

Our service operations will continue to operate as usual allowing you to visit the dealerships for routine maintenance, MOTs, and repairs. We will continue to operate a timed appointment system to minimise social contact and all vehicles will be sanitised. You are able to wait whilst your work is being carried out in a dedicated waiting area. We also kindly ask that all service bookings are made over the phone.

Our Barretts Bodyshop will be operating by appointment only for all drop off and collections for body work and repair services, in support of our service departments across the group. All Collection and Deliveries will be taking place and loan cars will continue to be provided. Again please note that all vehicles will be sanitised.

Whilst our Sales department may be physically closed, we are still very much open albeit operating remotely. We have worked harder than ever to develop new ways of providing our services to you in a safe, responsible, and hassle-free manner, including:

  • Virtual appointments
  • Online purchasing
  • Click and collect
  • Contactless payments

Due to current restrictions in place, we are unable to offer test drives at this time.

All of our Parts Departments will be open and taking orders over the phone offering a click and collect service. For our parts trade customers, our delivery service will continue to operate as normal.

We are committed to keeping our customers and staff safe and supported throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised as part of the Government’s Track and Trace system we are kindly asking customers that enter the dealerships to use the Track and Trace code. For customers without the NHS App, we ask customers to leave their name and contact details with us, in the event Public Health England need to contact you. Barretts also requires all customers and visitors to have their temperature checked and to wear a face-covering unless exempt before entering the dealerships.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
